Cinnamon Balls
I came across a Cinnamon Toast Crunch Frosting when I went to the 99 Cent Store, and I had to get it! As soon as I got home, I was like hmm… what can I make with this. As always, I looked on Pinterest and came across JuliasCuisine recipe with her version of Mexican Buenlos.
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp. salt
- ¾ cup white sugar
- Vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp. butter
- ½ cup milk
- Mix Everything together (in the recipe you are supposed to mix everything in a specific way, but I don’t have the time to do that, so I just mixed everything at the same time).
- Add flour to a counter and start making your Cinnamon Balls (the batter was too sticky so I personally just added a lot more flour so I can actually roll the balls.
- In a medium size pan add 2 in. deep of Vegetable Oil and cook the Cinnamon Balls until the outside is lightly brown.
- I rolled the Cinnamon Balls in the Frosting and then sprinkled a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
Very tasteful!
